CarbonoBrasil is a Brazilian organization based in Florianopolis, the capital of Santa Catarina State, committed to improving communication and research in the new environmentally sustainable technologies.

Our mission is to heighten global awareness over the challenges of the new millennium and put forward innovative technologies that help to reduce negative impacts in the biosphere.

Using information as the starting point we believe we can adopt a more rational and ethical approach to nature and the use of natural resources.

In 2001 we launched   Portal CarbonoBrasil, an online journal specialised in themes like sustainable development, climate change, carbon markets and renewable energy.

Today Portal CarbonoBrasil is recognized nationally for its quality reports and news treatment.

In addition, Innovation Technology is an important tool for resolving questions like global warming and growing energy demand.

We have decided to invest in research and development of new technologies for residue waste treatment, mainly greenhouse gases and other air pollutants. This work is being carried out in partnership with research centres, national and international universities.
